Kisiizi Hospital is the only non-governmental hospital in Uganda to run in-patient mental health services. Imagine living in a country where that statement applies. They are supported by Jamie's Fund, a UK charity set up in memory of a very special little boy.

Heartsounds is an innovative initiative bringing together UK and Ugandan mental health champions to work together and learn from each others experience.

Based in the UK, the Uganda Diaspora Health Foundation continues to work in various countries with strong links in Uganda and UK as they strive to reaching their aims in breaking mental health barriers as well as creating an awareness in cultural sensitivity towards mental illness.
