Christmas is coming. There's nothing you can do about it and, with our stereotypical meter hitting 11, men (and some women) everywhere will be frantically looking for a last-minute present for their nearest and dearest. Have no fear, Men Tell Health are here to give you some mental health based-themed presents you can get ready for the big day.
The link, however tenuous, works whether you're on the Naughty or the Nice list. So, in no particular order, we give you inspiration to pass on to Father Christmas.
Big Hug Mug
For the person in your life who loves (a) a big man-hug and (b) a brew, you can give them two things in one with this Big Hug Mug. If they're a fan of TV True Detective, then it's three as it's a replica of the one used in that show!
An inspired gift from our friends over at Blurt. They do a 'hug in a box' for someone you know who may be struggling over the festive period. They come packed with all manner of thoughtful goodies to help whomever receives it know you're thinking of them. Prices vary and come in monthly, quarterly, 6-monthly and annual subscription models.
Screw Loose T-Shirt
People have probably said you've got a screw loose at some point in your life, let's not think of it as a bad thing, let's celebrate it with this T-shirt. Be loud. Be proud. Be loose.
Emergency Stress Ball
Stress is one of those things we all get for Christmas, whether we want it or not. A bit like socks. This is something you can take anywhere ready for when it does strike!
If you're looking for something for the lady in your life, then how about this? The semi-colon has been adapted by many people to summarise their struggle with mental illness. The semicolon is used when an author could’ve chosen to end their sentence, but chose not to. In this case, the author is you and the sentence is your life.” Some people get a tattoo, but you can take this t-shirt off!
Chocolate Five-A-Day Vegetables
At Men Tell, we're all about eating healthily to improve your physical health, but hey, it's Christmas. If you can't pig out on chocolate at Christmas then when can you!
With these incredibly lifelike chocolate vegetables, you can limit the guilt for a little while, plus you can eat all five at once! Result!
Last, but by no means least, how about treating someone you know, or even someone you don't know, to one of our lovely fabric, adjustable wristbands? They're a perfect stocking-filler (but then we would say that) and they really help to keep the lights on and website running here at Men Tell Towers! Awww go on!
This is far from a complete list so if you've got anything to add, please leave a comment below. Happy Christmas everyone!
